We docked in Marina Puerto del Rey in Fajardo, rent a car and packed our bags to explore the island. Puerto Rico has 9104 square Km. We estimate that five days would give us a good idea of the island.
First stop, El Yunke. The air is cool and humid all the time, something our lungs appreciate when you walk in the rainforest. The island gets about 50 inches of rain a year. The sound of water, the"coqui" frogs, national icon; and parrots, flood the space harmoniously. You have to be observant to find the creatures of the area. And days are needed to climb and visit the rivers, waterfalls and caves. We did a little exploring, it was still great.

The second day we went to San Juan. Where we booked a room at the Hotel Milano, which is owned by a Cuban. The reservation was for one night, then we decided that in one day we could not see everything.
